Carol Carol was among the few mature women I knew who was always enthusiastic about working in front of a camera, and I gave her as much opportunity as I could. She was a Beauty of the Week and a regular in our fashion spreads. This page presents her in a small percentage of those appearances. Maybe I'll find more of her photos to add later. I think Carol would have enjoyed working as a professional and had she been living in a big city somewhere, I believe she would have had a good chance. |

Bed-in-the-woods

 It was not an
easy project, and I
had a lot of time invested in just getting all this gathered up and
moved into a patch of woods a few miles east of the city.
The bed frame and the stuff that appears to be a real mattress and pillows and the beautiful girl had to be assembled and carted out there in my Jeep, which of course had to have its top removed first. That jeep and its load attracted some attention out on Rt. 16; I heard about it later. The spot was among my favorite places to shoot photographs, the girl was among my favorite models, and that outfit and her face and body were amazing. The light was right, the color was perfect, and I don't care if it had required a week of my time, or if it had stopped traffic on Rt. 16 - it was worth it. Yum. |
