Dance on a rainy roof

It was not an easy climb to the roof of the old Advocate building at 25 West Main Street and puddles seemed, at first, to be very wrong. But the basement "studio" with its low ceiling was hardly the place for a ballerina's leap.

She was a Denison student with the right attitude and we were rewarded for determination to make the climb, she and I.

The color, light and reflections combined to become a perfect stage and as with most of my favorite images, it all just happened the right way at the right time in the right place.
