GRANDPA
He's about to give
the little girl a treat, but first he shares his thoughts as she
timidly half-hides behind her security blanket. It all transpires, this
incredibly personal moment, in front of the main entrance to the
Licking County Administration Building on the east side of Courthouse
Square. This is perhaps the most effective and touching of all the
little narratives played out, then frozen for eternity, by the Reese
Bronzes
Is she his granddaughter, or would a real granddaughter be so shy? Perhaps she is only a neighbor?

Maybe the little girl was sitting beside Grandpa earlier, for there is
her little doll, rendered in bronze, rich in texture and detail.
