The Room of the Four Seasons - the Arensberg Murals
... where each season is displayed in as a teaching tool

Paintings by George Arensberg, a locally well-known artist and a friend of Tom's, decorate the walls of two rooms in the Pride-N-Joy School. George, like Tom, shared an interest in children and in this educational facility.

George painted himself into this scene as the driver of an old car, sitting by Pluto as they putt along an old dirt road beside which Popeye and Olive Oil are picnicking.

This is part of a large scene which surrounds the entire room and involves all the letters of the alphabet in syncronization with objects the names of which begin with each letter. For instance, in this scene the "O" is for owl and "Olive Oil," but you must guess what the "P" is for.
