Winston C. Allen, one of the most photographed politicians ever, during
my years as an Advocate photographer. But Winston was Licking County's
own teddy bear and everyone liked him, so to have him in front of one's

a local judge. But here, get this: Checking the route to Mansfield, fer God's sake? This is the apex of the corn we could dish out in excuses to photograph posed groups. Still, for a posed group (which I came to hate just because of the fakery involved) this isn't a bad example of a what a wide-angle lens could do with a tight crop on a tight group, and with almost every particle of space filled with something meaningful - plus a decent flash fill. |
