Woodland fashion Meet my wife - in this photo from many years ago. It is among the best photos ever captured of her, but this is its first public showing. It is an out-take from a series we made in this woods, another image (below) from which won first place in the color category of the Ohio News Photographers' contest a few decades ago. She made the dress she's modeling, made it specifically for this series of photos. The rest of it was given to us - all that luscious and perfect woods color, the sun splotches behind and the way the tree stems and vines fell into the photo in all the right places. It was a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
